Three miniature collage pieces by Mika Taanila are part of Kuopio Art Museum’s show Oi maamme! from 9 June until 16 September Produced by Yle, curated by Harto Hänninen, the exhibition features found footage works by Sami van Ingen, Timo Wright, Kehonrakentajat collective and many DIY film-makers. Taanila’s pieces are Delay of Game, Branches (both anaglyph 3D projections with stereo sound) and Sad Song of the Hard-Edge Transition Wipe Markers (on a 4:3 monitor with headphones).
